
SWR, the German national broadcaster, have revealed plans for a potential national selection, for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.
SWR have taken over from NDR in ORGANISING Germany’s participation at the Eurovision Song Contest, from 2026 onwards. SWR plans to host a national selection to determine the German representative in Vienna and had the following to say:
“We at SWR are in the middle of concept development. But it won’t be long before you will find out all the news about the ESC 2026 and the German preliminary round.”
