It’s June and it’s Pride month. Here at Eurovision Ireland, we are going to highlight some of the LGBTQ+ artists to have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest.
For June 25th, we are continuing with Duncan James & Lee Ryan. They represented the United Kingdom as part of Blue, with “I Can”, taking 11th place with 100 points. Duncan James is Gay, while Lee Ryan is Bisexual. You can watch their performance of “I Can” below:
Gay is a generic term for lesbian and gay sexuality – some women define themselves as gay rather than lesbian. The term usually refers to a man who is attracted to a man. Bisexual is an attraction towards more than one gender. Bi people may also describe themselves as bisexual, pansexual, bi-curious, queers and other non-monosexual identities.
