RTVE, the Spanish national broadcaster, have selected a new Head of Delegation, ahead of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.
Following Ana María Bordas’ appointment as the Head of the Eurovision Reference Group, César Vallejo has been chosen as her successor. César Vallejo stated that he wants to continue to work on Benidorm Fest so that “with every edition of Benidorm Fest and Eurovision participation, we get closer to that balance between artistic quality, international quality and collective pride”. Following the news, César Vallejo had the following to say:
“We have learned a lot. It’s time to convert all that experience into tangible goals and impactful entries. We will work hard, but we will show respect and care towards the artists, so that the road to Eurovision is an enriching experience with satisfactory results for everyone.”
