RTV Oost have opened their song submission window for the 2025 Regio Songfestival, in Arnhem.

The song submission window has now opened to represent Overijssel and will close on Sunday 29th June. The representative will be chosen by a jury and revealed on Friday 5th September. The rules for the selection are:

• Artists must not have appeared in the Dutch Top 40, songwriters or lyricists are allowed to have appeared in the Dutch Top 40.
• The performing artist must come from Overijssel, or be born and raised there. This rule also does not apply to the composer/lyricist.
• The song must be an original song.
• The song cannot have been previously published or used in another production.
• The song must be largely written and sung in Dutch or another regional language of the provinces.
• A maximum of five people can be on stage.
