This year at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel, Ireland will be marking 60 years since their first participation. Today we continue with 1996.

1996 – “The Voice”

In 1996, when the Contest was held in Oslo, Norway, Eimear Quinn represented Ireland with “The Voice”. Eimear finished in 1st place and 162 points.

1997 – “Mysterious Woman”

In 1997, when the Contest was held in Dublin, Ireland, Marc Roberts represented Ireland with “Mysterious Woman”. Marc finished in 2nd place and 157 points.

1998 – “Is Always Over Now?”

In 1998, when the Contest was held in Birmingham, the United Kingdom, Dawn Martin represented Ireland with “Is Always Over Now?”. Dawn finished in 9th place and 64 points.

1999 – “When You Need Me”

In 1999, when the Contest was held in Jerusalem, Israel, The Mullans represented Ireland with “When You Need Me”. The Mullans finished in 17th place and 18 points.

2000 – “Millennium of Love”

In 2000, when the Contest was held in Stockholm, Sweden, Eamonn Toal represented Ireland with “Millennium of Love”. Eamonn finished in 6th place and 92 points.

2001 – “Without Your Love”

In 2001, when the Contest was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, Gary O’Shaughnessy represented Ireland with “Without Your Love”. Gary finished in 21st place and 6 points.
