
Amsterdam are to host the 2025 AI Song Contest – the second time for the Dutch after hosting the inaugural edition in 2020. The final will take place on November 16th.
While the exact dates have yet to be announced, song submissions will open in July and will close in August. The rules for 2025 are:
- Participants must use AI in the creative process and describe how they’ve used AI and data
- The song must be no longer than 4 minutes
- Lyrics are optional, and the language performed in is up to the participant
- No person or artist may compete for more than one team in the AI Song Contest in that year
A Semi Final will take place in September, date TBC, where a jury will select the finalists. Once the finalists have been selected, the public can vote for their winner online during October, dates TBC. The winner will be announced during the live show on Sunday 16th November.
