
Here at Eurovision Ireland, we are taking a historical look back on our favourite Contests past and present, on the very day they took place. Today it’s March 25th:
Saturday 25th March 1972
On this day in 1972, the 17th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest took place in Edinburgh, the United Kingdom. Luxembourg took victory with Vicky Leandros performing “Après toi” and 128 points.
