Tonight, France presented for the first time their song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel. Louane, who was internally selected by French broadcaster France Télévisions , sang live in front of an audience of over 80,000 at the Stade de France in Paris, during half -time of the Six Nations Rugby Tournament match between France and Scotland . The song is titled “Maman” and performance was live streamed via You Tube .

As one of the Big 5 countries, France automatically qualifies for the Grand Final in Basel, which will take place on 17th May 2025.
