
SRG SSR, the Swiss national broadcaster, have revealed that they are in talks with Celine Dion’s team, in regards to performing at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.
Celine Dion is currently battling a neurological disease and last performed in public last November. Celine took victory for Switzerland at the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, with “Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi” – which you can watch below. Reto Peritz and Moritz Stadler, Executive Producers of the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, confirmed the news with the following statement:
“It will only be known a few weeks before the ESC whether she feels fit enough.”
