RTS, the Serbian national broadcaster, have revealed one host has withdrawn from Pesma za Evroviziju 2025 – their national selection for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.
RTS have announced that Slaven Došlo has withdrawn from hosting Pesma za Evroviziju 2025. Dragana Kosjerina and Kristina Radenković will continue as main hosts, while Stefan Popović and Đorđe Živadinović Grgur host the green room as originally planned. On his withdrawal, Slaven Došlo had the following to say:
“With great gratitude to the RTS Entertainment Program team for the invitation and deep respect for their efforts in organizing this complex event, I would like to inform you that I have decided not to take part in Pesma za Evroviziju this year. Given the current social context, I do not see a way to fulfill my role as a host with full integrity, nor can I stand behind myself or the event in a way that I consider right. Thank you for your understanding.”
