The Swedish representative from the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, Lena Philipsson, has joined the Swedish group Roxette.
Following the passing of lead vocalist Marie Fredriksson in 2019, Per Gessle revealed that Lena Philipsson would be joining him on Roxette’s international comeback tour. Ahead of the tour, Lena Philipsson had the following to say:
“I’m going to do everything I can to honour Marie.”
The tour will visit South Africa, Australia, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Finland and Sweden, between February and July. The comeback tour will feature songs from Roxette’s back catalogue, as well as new songs – like “Sällskapssjuk”, which Per & Lena have already released.
