
DURING October, the EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, announced that AMPTV, the Armenian national broadcaster, had been chosen to host the 2026 Eurovision Young Musicians, in Yerevan.
Following on from the announcement in October, the European Broadcasting Union have had the following to say:
“The maximum number of participating countries for the 2026 edition has not yet been determined. However, we aim to maintain a similar format to the 2024 edition, which involved a maximum of 11 broadcasters.
The decision to host the 2026 edition in Armenia was recently confirmed. Specific details regarding the framework of the event, such as whether it will be held as part of a larger cultural event or event, will be discussed with the host country next year.”
