
AVROTROS, the Dutch national broadcaster, have revealed their representative for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.
AVROTROS have revealed that Claude will represent The Netherlands in Basel. The song that Claude will perform, will be revealed at a later date. On his reveal, Claude had the following to say:
“I feel extremely honoured that I will represent the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest next year and I still can’t believe it. I’m really looking forward to it and can’t wait to present my song to Europe.”
The singer-songwriter Claude, originally from Congo, moved to the Netherlands at the age of 13. He recalls that he and his family first encountered the Eurovision Song Contest not long after he had moved, with all of them cheering together as Conchita Wurst won for Austria. A new annual tradition was born and Claude has continued to follow the Eurovision Song Contest ever since.
