RTL, the Luxembourgish national broadcaster, have opened up a Contest to design a trophy for the Luxembourg Song Contest – their national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.
As the tweet from RTL mentions above, the design of the trophy should be recognisable – an example of this would be the song thrush used as the Melodifestivalen trophy. Those eligible to take part must be artists based in Luxembourg or those that have a proven cultural base within the country.
Those wishing to take part have until Sunday 1st December to submit their entries, with the winner receiving €4500.
