🇳🇴 #EYM24: Competition Pieces To Be Performed

NRK, the Norwegian national broadcaster, will host the 2024 Eurovision Young Musicians, in Bodø, this evening.

Whether you are new to Eurovision Young Musicians or are a long-term fan, we will be briefing you ahead of this year’s Contest this evening. Today we are looking at the competition pieces each of the participants will be performing:

  • Norway: Sebastian Egebakken Svenøy (Piano) – Camille Saint-Saëns: Piano Concerto No. 5, 3rd movement
  • Armenia: Hayk Hekekyan (Oboe) – Ludwig August Lebrun: Oboe Concerto No. 1 in D minor, 1st movement
  • Austria: Leonhard Baumgartner (Violin) – Henri Vieuxtemps: Violin Concerto No. 5 in A minor, 1st movement
  • Belgium: Mahault Ska (Piano) – Felix Mendelssohn: Piano Concerto in G minor, 1st movement
  • Czechia: Adam Znamirovský (Piano) – Camille Saint-Saëns: Piano Concerto No. 2, 3rd movement
  • France: Pierre-Emmanuel Hurpeau (Piano) – Maurice Ravel: Piano Concerto in G, 3rd movement
  • Germany: Fabian Egger (Flute) – Jakob Gade / Toke Lund Christiansen: Tango Fantasia for flute and orchestra
  • Poland: Jeremi Tabęcki (Clarinet) – Luigi Bassi: Concert Fantasia on motives from Rigoletto
  • Serbia: Bogdan Dugalić (Piano) – Sergei Rachmaninov: Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini
  • Sweden: Hugo Svedberg (Cello) – Joseph Haydn: Cello Concerto No. 1 in D major, 1st movement
  • Switzerland:  Valerian Alfaré (Euphonium) – Paul Mealor: Excerpt from Euphonium Concert
