It’s June and it’s Pride month. Here at Eurovision Ireland, we are going to highlight some of the LGBTQ+ artists to have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest.

For June 2nd, we are continuing with Bambie Thug. They represented Ireland with “Doomsday Blue”, taking 6th place with 278 points. Bambie Thug is Non-Binary. You can watch their performance of “Doomsday Blue” below:

Non-Binary refers to a person who doesn’t identify only male or only female, or who identifies as both. It is a word used to define genders that do not fit into either male or female classifications.
