SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, have revealed the sixth & final inductee of the Melodifestivalen Hall of Fame, ahead of the Grand Final, on Saturday 9th March, in Stockholm.
Previously this year, either an artist or a host has been inducted into the Hall of Fame, however, this week it is a song and the team behind it. Tattoo is the sixth & final inductee into the Melodifestivalen Hall of Fame this year. Tattoo was the winning entry at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, in Liverpool.
Christer Björkman, the Hall of Fame Chairperson, had the following to say:
“A monumental performance in performing arts where artistry, scenic expression and brilliance in composition are interwoven into a euphoric viewing experience. Mello and Eurovision magic.”
