SRF, the German-language Swiss national broadcaster, have confirmed their non-participation at the 2024 Eurovision Young Musicians, in Bodø.

SRF have revealed that they will not be returning to the Contest in Bodø next year. To date, Switzerland have participated in every edition of the Contest up to 2006 – with the exception of 1998. Switzerland hosted the Contest twice – in 1984 and 2004. RTS and RTI, the French and Italian-language Swiss national broadcasters, have yet to state interest in participation.

Austria became the ninth country to confirm participation on Monday, following Armenia, Belgium, Czechia, France, Germany, Norway (host country), Slovenia and Sweden. One more country can participate in the 2024 Contest, according to the rules.
