LRT, the Lithuanian national broadcaster, have announced broadcast plans for the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice.

LRT will be broadcasting the Contest for the first time since they last participated in 2011. LRT will be broadcasting the Contest live on LRT 1 with Ramūnas Zilnys as commentator.

Not only are LRT broadcasting the Contest live, they are running a competition giving away two tickets to the 2024 Contest – is this a sign of a potential Lithuanian return to the Contest? Under 18’s are encouraged been to record a video, commenting on this year’s Contest and upload to social media with the hashtag #MazojiEurovizija2023 until Sunday 17th December. The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve, with the winner receiving one ticket and another for an accompanying adult.
