
With ‘Heroes’ as the theme of the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice, we will be celebrating the Heroes from previous editions of the Contest. Today, we look at the first set of Heroes from Cyprus.
Cyprus debuted at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Copenhagen. Theodora Rafti participated with “Mia efhi”, finishing in 14th place and 16 points.
Marios Tofi represented Cyprus at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Lillehammer. Marios Tofi participated with “Oneira”, finishing in 8th place and 61 points – Cyprus’ best position to date.
Luis Panagiotou and Christina Christofi represented Cyprus at the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Bucharest. Luis Panagiotou and Christina Christofi participated with “Agoria koritsia”, finishing in 8th place and 58 points – Cyprus’ best position to date.
Yiorgos Ioannides represented Cyprus at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Rotterdam. Yiorgos Ioannides participated with “I mousiki dinei ftera”, finishing in 14th place and 29 points.
Elena Mannouri and Charis Savva represented Cyprus at the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Limassol. Elena Mannouri and Charis Savva participated with “Gioupi gia!”, finishing in 10th place and 46 points.
