Today, the 2022 Commonwealth Games continues to take place, in Birmingham, the United Kingdom. Each day throughout the Games, will be looking at the Commonwealth nations that have sent artists to the Eurovision Song Contest. Today we are looking at Cyprus.

Eleni Foureira was Cyprus’ entry in 2018, when the Eurovision Song Contest took place in Lisbon, Portugal. Eleni performed “Fuego”, finishing in 2nd place, with 436 points.

At the Commonwealth Games, Canada have had a successful medal haul before the 2022 Games began, with:

• 🥇 – 23
• 🥈 – 13
• 🥉 – 17
