KiKa, the German national broadcaster, have confirmed their participation at the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Yerevan, Armenia.

It is currently unknown how the German representative will be chosen. In 2020, their debut year, an internal selection was used. However last year, a national selection was used, with a public vote.
