A delegation member from Azerbaijan, specifically Eldar Rasulov, has claimed that Azerbaijan should participate wherever the Junior Eurovision Song Contest is held. Eldar Rasulov had the following to say:

“No matter where the competition takes place, we must participate and work for a better result.”
