Last night, the 2021 edition of Can i Gymru took place in Cardiff. Eight acts took to the stage, but only one could win the £5000 – that went to Morgan Elwy Williams, with the song “Bach o Hwne”. Huw Ynyr took second place, while Melda Lois Griffith rounded off the top three.

Normally the winner of Can I Gymru progresses to the Pan Celtic Song Contest. However, the 2021 edition of the Pan Celtic Song Contest has yet to be announced.
