For fans of the Eurovision Song Contest in the United Kingdom, joyous news from earlier today, has now become sad news. While “Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light” will be broadcast on the BBC, it’ll only be shown by the catch-up service iPlayer – not on a traditional linear television channel.

Instead, the BBC will continue to show “Eurovision: Come Together” on BBC One in its place.
