Sandie Jones, the Irish entry at the 1972 Eurovision Song Contest and their only entry to date to sing in the Irish language, is sadly reaching the end of her life in a hospice.
The hospice is in the United States, where her brother Tony has said she has been unresponsive since last Thursday. Her brothers also reside in the States.
Sandie’s dying wish is to be buried alongside her parents in her homeland of Ireland. Tony has set up a GoFundMe page to raise donations to fulfil the dying wish of his sister. If you would like to make a donation, it can be made HERE.
