Germany are set to make their debut at Turkvizyon 2014. With a Turkish population of over 1.5 million resident in Germany this is no surprise. However this is a big leap forward for TRT and their rivalry to Eurovision.

There are no details as of yet as to their performer but it is rumoured to be an act called ‘Dugan’. The German Broadcaster is not NDR who are responsible for Eurovision but it appears it will be a network called TV Shows/Wedding TV.

Azerbaijan won the first edition of Turkvizyon last year. The contest will however be held in Kazan in the region of Tatarstan. The semi final will take place on the 19th of November 2014 with the final being held on the 21st of November 2014.
