After this morning’s hoax, tonight we actually got to hear the first play – acoustic version – of the Dutch entry to Eurovision by The Common Linnets. The song is “Calm After The Storm”.

It is a slow meandering mid tempo country ballad? Does country music work at Eurovision? Discuss.

When asked what songs they like so far at Eurovision they said The United Kingdom, Romania, Denmark and Sweden.
