
Following the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, in Liverpool, a number of items from the Contest have been added to the permanent collection at the Museum of Liverpool.
Kay Jones, lead curator of Urban & Community History of the Museum, had the following to say:
“Anyone lucky enough to be in Liverpool during Eurovision will know what an amazing moment it was for the city, how sensitively Ukraine was represented throughout, and how warm the city’s welcome was.”
Items added to the Museum’s collection include a number of scripts, props and the costume worn by Sonia, during the Liverpool Songbook interval act.
