Both RTVA, the Andorra national broadcaster and the Andorran Government, have discussed the return of participation at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Mònica Bonell, Andorran Minister of Culture and Sports, had the following to say:

“Everyone who continues to spread Catalan and Andorran culture is welcome, but in this case it is necessary to value what this participation entails.”

A spokesperson for RTVA, had the following to say:

“No announcements will be made, as there is no news.

The downsizing of personnel and finances of the company makes it impossible to participate in projects of these magnitudes, remaining outside of our objectives.”
