
Sandviken’s City Council has started a process to see whether or not the city could host the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest.
Jonas Klang of Sandviken’s City Council, has written a proposal to the Council’s executive board – acknowledging there are challenges, but again would boost the region. The proposed venue would be the Göransson Arena, with a capacity of 10,000 – the arena hosted the second Semi Final of Melodifestivalen 2010.
