The European Broadcasting Union has officially cancelled Eurovision Choir 2023.
The choral Contest was due to take place in an unnamed city in Latvia. It would have been the third edition of the Contest, following the cancellation of the 2021 edition due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The inaugural Contest, in 2017, took place in Riga, while the last Contest took place in 2019, in Gothenburg.
Over the two Contests held, thirteen countries have participated. Only six countries have participated in both Contests to date – Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Slovenia and Wales.
