ProSieben, the German national broadcaster, has revealed that the 2023 Free European Song Contest has been cancelled.

ProSieben had PREVIOUSLY revealed that this year’s Contest was due to take place in October, rather than May. This year’s Contest has been cancelled due to organisational issues and it has yet to be revealed if it will return in 2024.
