🇬🇧 #ESC23: Liverpool Diaries – Days 13 & 14

This year, we have had a slightly different start to the Eurovision Song Contest, with the first week of rehearsals behind closed doors. We now have access to the second week of rehearsals – the dress rehearsals. We have hopefully adapted to this to bring you the coverage you have all grown to expect.

Day 13 was Semi Final Two day. After a quiet morning, we headed into Birkenhead Park for a bit of geocaching, before heading into Liverpool for a spot of late lunch. We then headed to the Media Centre to enjoy the second Semi Final. After the second Semi Final concluded, we headed off to EuroClub for our final time this Eurovision. Camp and Furnace, you have been a great EuroClub!

Day 14 is Jury Final day! After an early start for me doing Breakfast Radio – shout out to Radio West Norfolk, we had another late lunch before heading to the Media Centre. We headed into the arena for the final time tonight to enjoy the Jury Final. For those tuning into the live final, you’re in for a great treat.

It has been a fantastic fortnight for us here in Liverpool and we believe this city has set a new standard for future host cities. Enjoy the Grand Final and we will see you again in November, when we are on the ground in Nice, for the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
