France Télévisions, the French national broadcaster, have revealed that they will not be participating in Eurovision Choir 2023, in Latvia.

France was due to take part in the second Contest in 2019, in Gothenburg, Sweden. The 2019 debut was withdrawn and was pushed back to 2021, however the Contest was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The Deputy Director of Music and Dance for France Télévisions confirmed this news to Eurofestivales.
