
PBS, the Maltese national broadcaster, have announced details of MJESC 2023 – their national selection for the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice.
The 2023 Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest will hold two selections this year – one for the Artist and one for the Song. 24 participants will be chosen to perform in MJESC 2023. Two pre-recorded semi finals will be broadcast on July 22nd and 29th. The Grand Final will be broadcast live on August 12th – with the winning Artist chosen by 80% jury and 20% televote.
The Song selection will then follow in September. On September 3rd, the Authors & Composers will be revealed. On September 15th, the song that will represent Malta in Nice will be announced.
