Liverpool is aiming to make the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest a sustainable event – with elements living on after May 13th.
Sustainable elements in question are props and costumes. These items could be auctioned, donated to museums or recycled. Faye Dyer, Managing Director of the ACC Group, owners of the M & S Bank Arena, had the following to say:
“What’s really special about this year is that there’s a lot of work going into what we can do with the props afterwards… (and) how we can recycle props to be sustainable.”
