KiKA, the German national broadcaster, has confirmed participation at the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice.

KiKA provisionally confirmed the news during the broadcast of the Contest in Yerevan, however today has finally seen the official announcement. 2022 was cited as a ‘creative break’ by KiKA, however the German Foreign Office had issued travel warnings for Armenia. It is current unknown how the German Act will be selected for 2023.
