
ERR, the Estonian national broadcaster, has opened the voting lines following the second Semi Final of Eesti Laul 2023, for two wildcard finalists.
The ten losing semi finalists have been given another chance to get to the Grand Final of Eesti Laul 2023. Two places are up for grabs after voting recommenced at the end of last night’s Semi Final. Voting will remain open until 17:30 GMT/18:30 CET tomorrow evening, Monday 16th January. The Acts up for the two wildcard places are:
- Ellip – “Pretty Girl”
- Kaw – “Valik” (Choice)
- MERLYN – “Unicorn Vibes”
- MIA – “Üks samm korraga” (One step at a time)
- Neon Letters & Maiko – “Tokimeki” (Palpitation)
- Linalakk & Bonzo – “Aeg” (Time)
- Elysa – “Bad Philosophy”
- Robin Juhkental – “Kurbuse matused” (Funeral of sorrow)
- Wiiralt – “Salalik” (Secretive)
- Carlos Ukareda – “Whiskey Won’t Forget”
Tomi Rahula, Producer of Eesti Laul, had the following to say regarding the introduction of the wildcard vote:
“Now that both semi-finals have been completed and all the competition songs have been listened to, the preferences are clearer than before and you can once again show your support for your favourites. With this, we also give fellow fans an even greater opportunity to influence the composition of the final.”
