I reached out to the Eurovision Ireland team to discover three key highlights of their 2022. Second up is Sarah!

Eurovision Song Contest 2022

What stood out for me in Turin was Diadato’s stunning performance of “Fai Rumore” in one of the semi finals interval acts . So glad he finally got to appear on the Eurovision stage and that performance could only leave us wondering what might have happened had the 2020 contest gone ahead.

Eurovision Song Contest National Finals 2022

For me the stand out moment was Konstrakta winning the Serbian National Final. As a health professional myself, I could relate to the message of her song just by seeing the washing hands on stage but worried that Europe wouldn’t get the message as in Corpore Sano was sung in a language few of us understand, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it do so well in Turin.

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022

Armenia put on a great show, the standout for me was seeing our Freya Skye being able to perform on the big night, having missed rehearsals through the week through illness and I was even more pleased to see her win the public vote and come in 5th place despite her problematic week.
