I reached out to the Eurovision Ireland team to discover three key highlights of their 2022. Third up is Bogdan!

Eurovision Song Contest 2022

For me, one of the highlights of Eurovision 2022 was the amazing crowd reaction in PalaOlimpico. Their cheers for Chanel, WRS, Zdob si Zdub and Advahov Brothers or Mahmood and Blanco (to name a few) elevated what we saw on the stage and gave us, the viewer behind the screen, an abundant feeling of joy and energy.

Eurovision Song Contest National Finals 2022

When I look back at the selections from the National Finals 2022, I can’t ignore the dinosaur in the room. Literally! When E-an-na in the Romanian National Selection brought to the stage a giant inflatable dinosaur to beat the drum… I mean you can’t beat that. I absolutely loved it!

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022

I was extremely pleased to see Ireland in the top 5 of Junior Eurovision 2022. I think Sophie was brilliant and her performance of ‘Solas’ had a captivating energy. I can only hope to see her representing Ireland in the big contest in a few years.
