ČT, the Czech national broadcaster, has confirmed when ESCZ 2023 will be held – their national selection for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, in Liverpool.
ESCZ 2023 will be held on Monday 30th January and will feature three finalists. ESCZ 2023 will be the first televised national selection in the Czech Republic since 2008 (when it was known as Eurosong). The winner will be selected by Czech public voting, an expert jury and international fan voting.
Ahmad Halloun, Assistant Head of Press for the Czech Republic, had the following to say:
“It will be a modest and high-quality show. Once again we are focusing on showcasing Czech talent internationally, and a Live show is a fantastic way to do so. The show will be focused of course on a Czech and international audience, something everyone will enjoy.”
