
On Monday 5th December, the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest Opening Ceremony took place in Republic Square, Yerevan. The EBU provided a livestream of the Opening Ceremony via YouTube for everyone to enjoy across the world.
But the livestream didn’t continue after Yerevan’s Christmas Tree lighting. AMPTV, the Armenian national broadcaster, continued broadcasting the event for the Armenian viewers. After the Christmas Tree lighting, previous Winners and previous Armenian Acts of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest took to the stage to perform their songs.
