While RTVE, the Spanish national broadcaster, have yet to commit to the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, there is already talk of a national selection.

Ximo Puig, President of the Valencian Community, sent the following tweet:

The tweet was not only to congratulate Carlos Higes on his performance in Yerevan, but also his desire for Benidorm Fest Junior to become a reality. It is important to add that no decision has been made on a national selection yet, let alone as we said above, confirmation in participation has still to be made.
