🇩🇪 #JESC23: Germany Confirms Participation

Germany has confirmed its participation at the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

On Sunday 11th December, during their live broadcast of the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest on KiKA, German commentator Constantin Zöller confirmed the country’s return at the 2023 Contest. Travel restrictions imposed by the German government made participation in Yerevan an impossibility.

During their one year break, the German delegation have had a creative rethink in how they approach their participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. One idea currently on the table is the collaboration with “Dein Song”. “Dein Song” is a popular television programme amongst young people in which they aim to find the best new composer in Germany. Any national selection method has still to be confirmed by KiKA & NDR.
