On December 7th, the Asian Academy Creative Awards took place and ‘Eurovision – Australia Decides’ went home with two awards – Best Music Show and Best Non-Scripted Entertainment Show.
‘Eurovision – Australia Decides’ is made for SBS, the Australian national broadcaster, on behalf of Blink TV. Paul Clarke accepted the awards for Blink TV and had the following to say:
“Our chief goal as a company is to bring Eurovision to Asia so please look out for that! Eurovision is coming people!”
Eurovision has expanded to the Americas thanks to Voxovation. Voxovation is partly run by Christer Bjorkman, who is good friends with Paul Clarke. Could Voxovation and Blink TV be reviving the Eurovision Asia Song Contest project? Stay with us here at Eurovision Ireland as we will bring you all the latest Eurovision Asia Song Contest news.
