
Over the course of this week, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the countries that are taking part at the Contest and their Junior Eurovision story so far. Today, we begin Armenia’s story.
Armenia debuted at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Arevik participated with “Erazanq”, finishing in 2nd place and 136 points.
Monica Manucharova represented Armenia at the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Limassol, Cyprus. She participated with “Im ergi hnchyune”, finishing in 8th place and 59 points.
Luara Hayrapetyan represented Armenia at the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Kyiv, Ukraine. She participated with “Barcelona”, finishing in 2nd place and 116 points.
Vladimir Arzumanyan represented Armenia at the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus. He participated with “Mama”, finishing in 1st place (their best position) and 120 points.
Dalita represented Armenia at the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Yerevan, Armenia. She participated with “Welcome to Armenia”, finishing in 5th place and 85 points.
