
Over the course of October and November, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the previous editions of the Contest. Today, we celebrate Paris 2021.
On Sunday 19th December 2021, the 19th Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place at the La Seine Musicale, in Paris, France. The show was hosted by Carla, Élodie Gossuin and Olivier Minne. The Interval Act was provided by Valentina and Barbara Pravi.
Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Ireland, Italy, North Macedonia and Portugal all returned. They joined France, Georgia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Malta, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Spain, The Netherlands and Ukraine. Belarus didn’t return for the 2021 edition.
1st Place: Armenia – Maléna, “Qami Qami”
2nd Place: Poland – Sara James, “Somebody”
18th Place: Ireland – Maiú Levi Lawlor, “Saor (Disappear)”
