
Over the course of November, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the countries that are taking part at the Contest and their Junior Eurovision story so far. Today, we begin Italy’s story.
Italy debuted at the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Marsa, Malta. Vincenzo Cantiello participated with “Tu primo grande amore”, finishing in 1st place (their best position) and 159 points.
Chiara & Martina represented Italy at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Sofia, Bulgaria. They participated with “Viva”, finishing in 16th place and 34 points.
Fiamma Boccia represented Italy at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Valletta, Malta. She participated with “Cara Mamma (Dear Mom)”, finishing in 3rd place and 209 points.
Maria Iside Fiore represented Italy at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi, Georgia. She participated with “Scelgo (My Choice)”, finishing in 11th place and 86 points.
