🇲🇹 #JESC22: Remembering Junior Eurovision 2014

Over the course of October and November, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the previous editions of the Contest. Today, we celebrate Marsa 2014.

On Saturday 15th November 2014, the 12th Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place at the Malta Shipbuilding, in Marsa, Malta. The show was hosted by Moira Delia. The Interval Act was provided by Gaia Cauchi and the La Voix Academy.

Three countries debuted in Marsa – Italy, Montenegro and Slovenia, while Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus and Serbia returned. They joined Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Malta, Russia, San Marino, Sweden, The Netherlands and Ukraine. Azerbaijan, Moldova and North Macedonia (then known as FYR Macedonia) didn’t return for the 2014 edition.
